PAINT COLOR CODES
In order to maintain the uniformity of the external paints used within Al Hamra Village, the following paints from RAK Paints are pre-approved to be used. Modification request forms using a pre-approved paint from RAK Paints, will receive instant approval.

RAK Textured Exterior Paints
RAK acrylic co-polymer-based texture paints are reinforced with coarse rock-hard aggregates, and are suitable for exterior surfaces like plaster, concrete, bricks, masonry, asbestos, cement panels etc. It is ideal for the Middle East weather conditions. All Al Hamra Village community villas exterior are painted with RAK Paints Textured paints. Most of the original textured paints in Al Hamra community have lasted well over 10 years.

Surface Preparation
The surface to be painted should be completely dry and free of any dust, oil, grease or poorly adhering materials. If the surface is infected by fungus or algae, treat it with RAK Fungicidal wash. The surface should be well primed before applying this type of coating. If applying over an existing coating, all loose materials must be thoroughly rubbed down using a suitable abrasive paper.
Typical Paints system
- 1 coat of RAK Acrylic AR Primer/ Acrylic Primer
- 1 coat of RAK Texture Finishes
Important note: RAK Textured paint must NOT to be diluted with water in order retain full strength and color consistency.
